Giant house party via the redneck republican riviera! Meridith and I drove up late Sunday night for 32 hour binge of surreal Mississippi at it’s finest. Hung out in cabins of perry and posey with Sarah, hal, Chad, Claire, rosalita, and more! Went to the pageant, snazzed at the dance, and stayed up late and danced hard! Woke up 6am early to come back for meeting! Love it, it’s time for a documentary!
Working at all hours trying to get things together. Accepted into Millsaps business advantage program! Went with neelima and ben to Natchez for eight hours of shooting. The light was amaZing and got some great images of the bridge and broke onto this amazing plantation! So beautiful! Came back to jackson to get rained on by a two dolla monkey. Seriously. Marci and Julie in town for the weekend and fjones all Friday night. Up early Saturday to teach artbuds program. Gracie and sculpted crazy figures and made a stop motion video! Oooh, Jaymee and i went to cabaret Friday night, nice. Lazy Saturday and nap. Chick ball and taking Katrina, Ashley, and maddie home. Three cars to jump off, gas up, and battery! I felt like a mechanic on Sunday! Shooting tre in studio and Tom petty practice with the quills with keytar! Off to neshoba with Meredith into the night! I miss last week, yeah……
Monday was getting back to work! Shooting all restaurants for the glenns and then lunch with Sean at Fenians and shooting there. Karaoke that night and stayed at studio. Lunch with Jessica and finally talking to Tom about printing on silk which looks like the best way to get illuminated! Kiln is fixed, art is almost on the make almost!
Drove up to oxford with Katie to do an interview. Good times and rush back before she went to the airport! Ahhhhhh. No more of that. Shot some pictures that afternoon and Friday for a special project and Saturday shooting Catherines fun wedding at brattom green. Sunday I danced and Body painted myself between two incredible musicians, then I joined the quills Tom petty band! Amazing! A lively weekend! Misses much!
Back in jack and filming sunsets! Haircut that is completely George Michael. Shot Priester judges, engagement luvins (quite sexy actually) and working on sexy calendar for craft center. Lots of work to do, lots of play at hands, amazing dinners and endless nights. I don’t want it to end.
The little work done this week was mainly on mda pulling up images. Thursday had a really good shoot with VIP at warehouse downtown and everyone was really quite lovely! Friday left for new Orleans late with Katie. Stayed at r bar inn and just had an amazing weekend. Went tubing down bogue chitto with matt, Danny, and Sean for matts 30th. Dumb animals we were and then out all night with Katie dancing drinking singing and being! Out very late on Sunday and can only say it was incredible weekend!
Don’t recall exactly Monday through hump day but I can recall lots of lights, dirty, smoke, jack, gingers, dinners, winners, and grinners! Got stellar job with mda and will be travelling the state for the rest of year shooting! Happy haps!
Katie came Tuesday, karaoke on Wednesday, artwalk on Thursday, travel to union Mississippi on Friday, shoot familay, Toni wedding on Saturday, old Capitol inn never looked so good in mirrors and lights. Party got redirected to 121 on Sunday! 150 plus peeps and 300 dollars worth o fireworks, Melvin spinnin and karaoke dancin! Bad ass 4th!
