Mississippi Grammy’s and Whit bday!

Friday, May 30th, 2008

Started out today with taking my best worker out to Chuckee Cheese for her bday! Jesus that place just isn’t the same. But still have skee ball and shoot the hoops and greasy pizza. What ever happened to ball pits and scary dark rooms with anamatronics? hmmm? Then I got Peyton and Whitney together and we were off to shoot the Mississippi Grammies which neither of us new what that was. I shot a party at the governors mansion, Brandy the singer was there along with a whole slew of Mississippi greats and whatnots. There is an exchange program with Sweden where these amazing girls come sing here and we send Blues musicians over there. Amazing. I love swedish people. The night was random and hung out with the Swedes and broke my back. yes literally broke my back. I am not Peter pan anymore. More explanation later

Memorial Day!

Tuesday, May 27th, 2008

What screams memorial day like getting up with a hangover and shooting pictures of a cute kid, then getting a bucket of KFC with some bud light, then slapping some ribs, throwing the Frisbee at the 121, more kids, a photoshoot at the bar for the rollergirls, and then Karaoke. Damn, that is a hella Memorial!

Random fun and yes Karoake!

Spent the day working some and then getting crazy. This drinking California is still in me for some reason. We went to Ed Inmans to watch movie projected in backyard. Neil Young’s “Rust Never Sleeps” Love Neil but not so on this one. Then we went to this crazy gay bar I have never been to with a buffet right around the corner from the house, CJ’s i do believe. Sweetness. And then over to Last call where I had to wear Arthur’s shirt to get in, the place thought my wife beater wasn’t classy enough. HA.Classy Jackson. Ashley was in town and Taylor of all peeps with new girl. Hung out with Annie, Cherie, and Whitney for a sec. She is the bestest worker slash driver ever!

Business in LA=RANDOM

Thursday, May 15th, 2008

This day has to be one of the funniest, weirdest days in my life. I got up and  went with Alfred to work and quickly printed out all of my packet information for the Bunnyranch. Then drove his car crosstown to a Los Angeles social club and shot Flava flave, bret michaels and other reality stars for the agency. By no means was I the main photographer, they were doing a shoot for USA today, but, I did score some really great candids and these guys never break character! They are really this crazy. So then of course Flava took forever so I ended up back at agency late to meeting with Dennis which I thought was a disaster but apparently he liked me. I then had to run downstairs call a cab frantically and get to the airport so as not to miss my flight. All of this happened within a few hours and it was the most ridiculous ride yet! Made the plane and back in the South by midnight! What a business day! whoop. Gotta love LA

if you are leaving San Fran!

After all the dancing it was time to pack and hit the road back to LA. By all means I had to get back and meet Dennis with the Bunnyranch and shoot Flava Flave and crew. It was time! We checked out some crazy tags before hitting airport and then up up and away! till next time. love that San Francisco treat!

SCOOT SCOOT San Fran!

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008

We got at it late but man was it fun for scooters! We accidently got on the freeway at one point going 45mph and almost died! Went to the Palaces, around the beaches, into the parks, and back to the wharf! Good times and scoot scoots! Last night in town so we went dancing at some cool bar playing rock music from the 60’s, or something to that accord. The beers were big and cheap and I like that! and dancing!
