Friday started with haircut by Morgan and blondification. From gm to db! Went and picked up Luce from Montreal who was a self proclaimed Tom sawyer photographer. Awesome girl! Band practice all the time! Got up early to ihop with James and went to lowes and spent a fortune on framing materials. From Saturday to Wednesday it was this formula – art, petty practice, art, school, repeat! Got the printer working non stop on silk prints and the kiln is finally fixed cooking copper around the clock! Seriously, up most nights till 4 or later, and it all looks good! Thanks to Laura, Richard, jess, tori and all who have helped! Karen rocks!!!!

The weeks fly by when you never sleep and burn burn burn. Worked all Friday and went to see taylor and dead gaze play up at martins. Started school on Saturday. Business advantage program. Doctors, lawyers, non profits, and art now! Had first class Tuesday night in accounting. That went way above my head still, hard hard hard. Assets, liabilities, equity! Aye. But I do have a killer backpack and can scoot to school. Shot 6 senior girls on Saturday and that was a blast. 6 are better than 1. I tried to replace my iPhone screen Friday night by watching the wrong tutorial, fucked it up royally so I have a new phone now! Thanks Jodie! Sunday I accidentally erased 6000 personal pics on computer, thank you drew to the rescue. He pulled 1000000 images off my hard drive! Been making art all week. Laura is new to the team plus all the kick ass kids James, Joseph, kat, Andy, Donny, Peyton. Thank you thank you. Learning petty songs and going to class and sleeping little. Leg is good and electronics are all working! Keep it up!

Been in the garage everyday making art! Tons of good peeps coming by to help. Monday, Katherine, James, and Annie came and helped adhere my random series. Same for tuesday which turned out to be my computer is broken / my leg finally got infected day. Noticed Monday night after practice that my leg was starting to get red and boil. Yeah after two weeks of rock concerts, hot tubs, and fountains, once I take bandage off it finally gets infected. Went and got my lasered on Tuesday night and that sent tons of white blood cells way down to aggravate it more. By Wednesday I had my computer fixed but my left leg was swollen almost half than the other. After a long awesome day with Andy and Joseph belong make art, nurse Amy finally showed me how to clean and bandage it. It’s Thursday and I have been at home all day in bed trying to get rid of it so I can get back to work! Stir crazy! Thanks dr. John for the scripts and helping me to not a pirate peg leg so soon in life!

Friday was practicing petty most of the day and taking it easy that night. Early Saturday morning I shot some stills with Ramey on production shoot. Good times, fun video peeps, and crazy actors. Left to shoot Larkin for senior pictures and went to farmers market, the trace, and then to prints! Was in a super good mood and feeling quite nostalgic Mississippi! Lovely day! Rested and talked to jef and numerous others about article trying to write for the free press! Been killing me. Larry and Susan had a lovely anniversary party put on by nic! Wonderful time! Sunday jammin and rehersing! 35 petty songs! Whoa

Got back Monday morning and straight to work! Ramey fun and home for no nap but talked to Katie, then off to Leslie and ians wedding which was pretty damn awesome. Monday wedding you know it’s gonna be off! crazy good times until tiredness overcame me. Tuesday was trying to sleep and chill out and finish craftsmans guild calendar. Oh, I got accepted into the guild! I am a metal artist, never thought I would say that! Wednesday was a great day! Had a nice spinach smoothie to start and then went and tre and I painted Karen in the studio quick like for a picture of me for the craftmans guild. Got some amazing pictures! Lisa came and took some funny graduation pics. Went over and spent some good time with Thomas Morrison and pulled out ceramics from his basement that had been there for four years. Scary and beautiful to see. Feel like something else productive happened! Thursday we had a big open photoshoot for my new thirst, some of chelseas coslopus shirts, and jcgraphics. Guest photographer in town Seth had an open house at 121 and then came and took my picture at my other studio. Good times ending a great Johnny Bertram show at 121. Went over to Daniel guacs only to find it was his birthday at midnight! Stayed there that night, cake farts is nasty by the way/ Friday frank came by and fixed mine and Matthews car and I practiced Tom petty most the afternoon and took pictures with my new remote for still animation. Don’t know if I did anything Friday night! Crazy week!

So many damn bands. I can tell you by the end of it that am finished with 90 thousand people in hot heat! Friday was my favorite, walkmen, Mavis staples, new pornographers, matt and Kim, hot chip, chromeo, then da da da, lady gaga. Performance was great if she had shut the hell up. Ended up at diner with marci till late, awesome! Saturday was the xx, grizzly bear, deer tick, Edward sharpe (awesome), and Phoenix. Ended up this night playing crazy cards games and dipping and dancing in a Mexican restaurante. Sunday was miserable, raining and then became the hottest day ever! Got a little to drunk on vodka and others and felt kinda nasty! Dodos, metric, blitzen trapper, mgmt, national, and arcade fire. We ended up swimming in a fountain and going to bed way to late for me to be getting up at six and leaving still reeking! Awesome exhausting weekend!

Chicago! Had the craziest plane ride ever. Drunk ass lady behind us with inbredded southern flair kept mentioning blow jobs and kept us on the runway because she locked herself in the bathroom! Nuts, and sad. Got off the plane to a 21 gun salute with a 400 person veterans arrival. Turned out it was a ww2 veterans arrival and all the guys were going 2 by 2 down the elevator in wheelchairs. Utterly bizarre and complete American experience! Bladon and Eddie picked me up from the airport and went for a quick Mexican kick ass meal before marci got in late. Picked her up and talked it out till sleep! They had a beautiful dig named Jesse. The next day marci and I went all over town exploring and taking pics. Went to the top of the Hancock building which was awesome. Got back to bladons and had a dinner party with eddies friends, catch phrase craze. Super night!

I really can’t recall everything that happened this last week besides hot ass sun moving things around in the garage studio, cutting a huge gash in my leg and not getting stiches, and procrastinating doing the art I so need to do to move on. Little bit of shooting, and lots of ideas to get started! Peyton and Emily cate helping big time! Thank you Karen! Artbuds on Saturdays with Gracie has been awesome! Flying to Chicago now to chill with marci and bladon and go to lollapalooza! Worried about getting art finished. Wish England didn’t have a fucking ocean in-between. Aye

Giant house party via the redneck republican riviera! Meridith and I drove up late Sunday night for 32 hour binge of surreal Mississippi at it’s finest. Hung out in cabins of perry and posey with Sarah, hal, Chad, Claire, rosalita, and more! Went to the pageant, snazzed at the dance, and stayed up late and danced hard! Woke up 6am early to come back for meeting! Love it, it’s time for a documentary!

Working at all hours trying to get things together. Accepted into Millsaps business advantage program! Went with neelima and ben to Natchez for eight hours of shooting. The light was amaZing and got some great images of the bridge and broke onto this amazing plantation! So beautiful! Came back to jackson to get rained on by a two dolla monkey. Seriously. Marci and Julie in town for the weekend and fjones all Friday night. Up early Saturday to teach artbuds program. Gracie and sculpted crazy figures and made a stop motion video! Oooh, Jaymee and i went to cabaret Friday night, nice. Lazy Saturday and nap. Chick ball and taking Katrina, Ashley, and maddie home. Three cars to jump off, gas up, and battery! I felt like a mechanic on Sunday! Shooting tre in studio and Tom petty practice with the quills with keytar! Off to neshoba with Meredith into the night! I miss last week, yeah……
